A first round draft pick from BALL-ZEE University, Miner Mike is the West Virginia Miners MVP. After making his debut at the Miner’s inaugural home game on June 11th, 2010, he quickly became the fans favorite player with his charming good looks, big smile and “just want to have some fun” personality. During home games at Linda K. Epling Stadium, Miner Mike can be found mingling and entertaining fans of all ages. He LOVES posing for pictures and his favorite game is The BASE RUN against young Miners fans. Unfortunately, Miner Mike has yet to complete a base run due to tripping between 3rd and 4th base as a result of his size 50 shoes getting in the way. When he is not entertaining West Virginia Miners fans during home games, Miner Mike likes to make appearances in the community to meet and greet fans.
